In your dashboard, you'll see a menu item for the leaderboard appear.

For every unique listing you make
Earn 1 Point
For every unique listing with expiry date
Earn 2 Points
For every referral that lists their first listing
Earn 8 Points

Terms and Conditions

  • Eligibility:
    1. Open to all registered users of near2me.co.za.
    2. Must be 15 years or older to participate.
    3. Employees, contractors, or affiliates of the Platform are not eligible to receive rewards but may participate.
  • Participation:
    1. Users must choose to participate by opting into the Listing Legends Campaign via their profile settings.
    2. Only legitimate, original, and accurate listings will be counted.
    3. Duplicate, irrelevant, or inappropriate listings may be removed, with no points awarded.
  • Earning Points:
    1. Points are earned based on a specified system. Certain actions would be awarded points.
    2. Special badges or ranks may be awarded based on milestones (e.g., adding 50 or more listings).
    3. The Platform reserves the right to adjust point allocation to maintain fairness.
  • Leaderboard Ranks:
    1. Users are ranked based on accumulated points.
    2. Ranks and badges may include titles like "Explorer," "Local Expert," "Listing Legend."
    3. Rank status could be displayed on user profiles and could become visible to others in future updates.
  • Reward System:
    1. The Platform may offer occasional incentives or promotions, subject to specific terms.
    2. Abuse of the system (e.g., fake listings) may result in disqualification and penalties.
    3. Deleted listings will not be counted toward points.
    4. In case of a tie for the top position, the total amount of current active listings will be considered as the tie breaker.
  • Conduct:
    1. Participants must engage fairly and respectfully.
    2. Cheating or exploiting the Leaderboard will result in disqualification and account penalties.
  • Modifications and Termination:
    1. The Platform reserves the right to modify or terminate the Leaderboard at any time without notice.
    2. Significant changes to these terms will be communicated on the Platform.
  • Disputes:
    1. Disputes about points, listings, or rewards will be handled by the Platform's administration team.
    2. Decisions made by the Platform are final and binding.
    3. Users violating the terms will be disqualified, and points may be forfeited.
  • Privacy:
    1. By participating, you agree that your username, points, and ranking may be publicly visible on the Platform.
    2. Personal data will be handled per the Platform's Privacy Policy.
  • Governing Law:
    1. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
